The Fault in our stars by John Green.
The book the Fault in our starts by John Green is his sixth novel to be published. The Fault in Our Stars was published in January 2012. This story is told from first person by a 16 year old girl called Hazel Grace Lancaster who is suffering from lung cancer. She attends a cancer support group were she later meets, and falls in love with a seventeen year old boy called Augustus Waters, who was a cancer surviver. Hazel and Augustus go on a holiday to Amsterdam were they fall in love even more deeply and Augustus tells hazel that he had a body scan and his cancer had returned and spread everywhere, and Augustus dies eight days later. This novel is heartwarming and a very sad novel about teenage love and I found this book to be one of my favourite books so far this year and one of my favourite books by this author. I would defiantly recommend to young adults.
Book rate: 9/10
